Pesce Fresco means fresh fish. Appetizers like Smoked Salmon, Calamari, and
Mussels in a sherry garlic butter sauce, and the house specialty Gorgonzola cheesecake are a
great way to start the evening. The nightly offerings include Broiled Salmon, California Sea
Bass, Pasta with Shrimp and Scallops, Cioppino, Lobster Ravioli, and the restaurant also features
at least two nightly fresh seafood specials. It's not only fresh fish; the menu also
includes aged New York Strip Steaks, Rigatoni with Sausage, Angel Hair Pomodoro, Chicken Piccata,
and other nightly specials all at affordable prices.
The wine list features more than two hundred selections from around the world, and the prices are
very reasonable. The staff is well trained an anxious to suggest new and wonderful things to try.
Additionally, one Monday a month the restaurant offers wine education classes in conjunction with
Heritage Wine and Liquors.
If it's dessert you’re looking for The Crème Brulee and the homemade Gelatos are the local favorites. The Lemon Cello Parfait is a house specialty topped with raspberry puree. Dessert wine selections are extensive and include Quady Essensia or Elysium from California, a Late Harvest Semillon from Australia, or a couple of incredible Sauternes from Bordeaux as well as a wonderful selection of Ports and after dinner drinks.
Whatever your needs, Joel and Merrilee Diner are anxious to meet you and serve you at their upscale Bistro and wine bar in the Burbs.
Cheers!! We’ll look forward to seeing you soon…
